Important Information Ahead of Westport Moss AS Kick-Off
We are thrilled to announce the upcoming kick-off for Westport Moss AS on January 1st, 2025. This marks an exciting new chapter for us, and we are committed to ensuring a smooth transition for all our customers. To help us achieve this, we would like to bring a few important points to your attention.
Container Deliveries and Import Container Release
To facilitate seamless container deliveries after the launch, we kindly request that you send a copy of the import container release by email for all units expected in the week prior to January 1st. Please direct these emails to our Logistics Centre at moss.logisticscentre@westport.no. Having this information in advance will greatly assist us in planning and ensuring timely handling.
Stock Overview and Validation
While we are working diligently, in close cooperation with today’s operator Greenport AS, to gather all relevant information before the kick-off, there is always a possibility of missing links during the transfer process. To mitigate this, we will be sharing a stock overview of units at the terminal as of January 1st as it is known to us. We kindly ask you to review and validate this information upon receipt. Your cooperation in this matter will help us to reduce the risk of discrepancies and ensure a smooth operational transition.
Responsibility for Units Received Prior to January 1st
Please note that Westport Moss AS cannot assume responsibility for the container inventory accuracy for units received at the terminal prior to startup January 1st, 2025. Any discrepancies that might occur after the 1st of January, relating to containers received at the terminal prior to 1st of January 2025, is a matter between container owner and today’s terminal operator, Greenport AS. However, we will do our utmost to assist in addressing any issues that may arise during this period.
